Veivek Asthaana, who has designed music for the well-acclaimed
International Movie, Valley Of Flowers ( Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Mylene
jampanoi etc.) is an integral part of the forthcoming Hindi movie, 2 LITTLE
INDIANS directed by Ravi Bhatia. As the director of the movie, Mr. Bhatia
always believes that music must be incorporated in such a way to carry forward
the plot of the movie. This led to a very cordial synchronization with Veivek
Asthaana to create four wonderful gems of music; each one illustrious as per
the situation of the movie.
"Tinka... Tinka..." the opening song of the movie, sung by Javed
Ali explores the emotional bondage prevailing in the family of the lead
protagonist. It shows that they are inseparable and love each other very much
like any ideal family in India. The sweet melody has flourished in the
melodious voice of Javed Ali and co- singers (Dipti and Sagrika) when thy sing
together, 'We Love Each Other'.
Kids are rather naughty and just imagine when their parents are not around.
They simply rock the home on fire with the peppy song, "A...O... Mummy
Nahin" . This foot tapping number in latino rythum thrills our sensation
and compels the children in us to groove. 'A..O..' the theme line of the song
is sure to captivate the attention of the masses in general and children in
particular.
Another gem composed by Veivek Asthaana is an English number sung by the
upcoming singing sensation, Pawni Pande. 'On The Way' is about the thrill and
joy of the two kids, Rohit and Ronak when they are out for shopping. They are
cherishing each and every moment of fun and adventure. But, Suddenly, they come
across some orphan kids seeking donation. Moved by their condition, our 2
LITTLE INDIANS give them whatever money they have got establishing their
sensibility and sensitivity. The song starts on an adventurous note and
gradually transforms into an emotional expression when the two kids release the
significance and value of their parents. They release that how much blessed
they are as compared to those orphan kids.
Last yet not the least is a very touchy composition (MUMMY GALTI HO GAYI) on
mothers. Ronak and Rohit plead before their angry mother to forgive them. They promise
that they will not commit such blunders in future and shall take care of her
concerns. Both Mummy and Papa cannot hold back their tears after listening to
such a highly emotional appeal by their lovely children. Mummy hugs the two
kids and it leads to happier moments in their life.
In all, the four compositions by Veivek Asthaana are bound to captivate the
imagination of the classes and masses alike by their magic of eternal melody.
Director Ravi Bhatia always maintains that music has to be the "soul"
of the movie and Veivek Asthaana executed just that with his beautiful
compositions.
